Memorial Day weekend arrived, and so did summer. The HOT weather, the vacation, and family visiting from out-of-state! Kurt, Sarah and the kids rolled in on Thursday evening amidst great anticipation and excitement - it had been tooooo long since our families had been together! Plus, I'm sure they were ready to pile out of their car from such a long trip from Iowa. We had such a wonderful, relaxing visit with family over the course of five days that we never wanted it to end. I was ready to quit work so the "vacation" could continue. The most fun of the long weekend was watching all the little cousins interact and play together. The "big girls" could go off and play independantly together and the little ones played well side-by-side. Being with cousins is so much fun! We only wish they lived closer, but are thankful for looooong refreshing visits!
One whole day - the hottest day - was spent playing in the pool and on the slip-n-slide.
Swimsuits this cute on little girls with legs this cute should be illegal.
Birthday presents from Kurt and Sarah! - Matching shoes, dresses, swimsuits and cover-ups! Thank you for the birthday presents!
Fun, tickle games with Grandpa. Hands up! Now, tickle!!
Quiet, story time with Grandpa.
An outdoor lunch picnic - Cassidy 3.5, Kayla 4.5, and Travis 1.5
And birthday cake ice-cream in purple cones for dessert to top it all off!
