Boat weekend commences!

Mackinaw Race Weekend. It's the epitome of summer in Port Huron. It's the half way point to summer being over and school starting. It's one of the highlights of our year. It's a whirlwind of activity and constant motion and fun!

It's exhausting.

Today we're recovering.

The Port Huron parade on Wednesday kicks off a long weekend of back-to-back activities, including Family Night on Thursday, Boat Night on Friday and Race Day on Saturday, and we did it all! Kayla and Khloe had a fun two-night sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa A's home and Kayla got to see Turbo in the theater with Grandpa.

There's only one thing that can make or break the weekend and that's the weather - it was beautiful all weekend!

Heading out to the lake on Race Day

One of the largest boats in the race and one of the most beautiful, Ocean from Chicago, heading out to the start line
Anchored out at the start line
 Kayla and Daddy snorkeling!
Mommy and Khloe chillin'
Molly got to join us too for several hours on our boat, and Gabrielle and Gina came out too. This made Kayla's life complete.
Raft off with four other boats - party!!!
Safety first!
And, after eight hours of boating, nap time.
Thursday night on the river - a beautiful calm night
Friday during the day cruising the river with friends - now that's relaxing!
