We are having so much fun watching Kayla learn this new sport, gain confidence (and speed!) and now we ski together as a family. We love skiing so much and it's so wonderful to have Kayla by our side. On our first day of skiing on Friday she picked right back up where she left off from last year and skied well on all the greens (beginner). She even attempted a blue (moderate) run, but that didn't go so well, even though we all eventually made it down in one piece. One thing Kayla's nailed from the beginning is getting on and off the chair lift - she's never fallen once and that's way better than her Dad has ever done!
By Saturday, Kayla ROCKED! She had a lesson in the morning and things just "clicked" with her and she really looked like a skier. We skied all. day. long. She did not want to stop and come in! Her and Molly had so much fun finding new ski runs, paths through the woods, looking for "Elsa" and her castle. By the end of the day I was telling Kayla to slow down so I could catch up with her. And that blue run? She nailed it - TWICE - on Saturday all by herself! We hope more skiing is in our near future!

Mid-mountain Snow Bar - Aaron's favorite hang out
Not to worry, Khloe wasn't left out of the snow fun! Everyday at 4pm the bunny hill closed down to skiing and opened for sledding. We spent our evening until dark on the hill. Khloe loved "to go fast!"
The only safe quiet place two big girls can go to get away from the little kids - the shower
Can't wait for the next time!
